Sneijder targets silverware at Inter

Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder reiterated his commitment to the club and reveals he is hoping for success in the coming Serie A campaign.
The Nerazzurri had a season to forget last term as they finished sixth in Serie A in a year that saw them change coaches on three occasions.
Gian Piero Gasperini, who replaced Leonardo at the start of the season, left after just five games in charge and was replaced by Claudio Ranieri, who lasted till the end of March before his contract was terminated by mutual agreement, paving the way for youth coach Andrea Stramaccioni to take over.
It was also a season to forget for Sneijder who was plagued by injuries and struggled to find form after being constantly linked with a move to Manchester United, although since the speculation has died down, the midfielder is adamant he is focused on helping Inter reclaim their place at the summit of Italian football.
"I have a strong desire to win and want to stay here to do just that," he told Corriere dello Sport. "Inter are a great team that are currently rebuilding for the future.
"We're a mix of youth, experience and quality.
"Other offers? Money is important, but it's not all that matters. If a big-money offer comes in in three or four years time, I would consider it, but I'm only thinking about Inter."
The Netherlands international also spoke of his support of Stramaccioni, who has since been handed the reins at the Giuseppe Meazza on a full-time basis.
"Stramaccioni has the same football philosophy," he added. "He knows how to deal with players and is determined to win.
"He will do a great job at Inter and I'm very happy with him."
Since joining Inter from Real Madrid in 2009, Sneijder has played over 100 games for the Nerazzurri and helped them win the Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League in the 2009/10 season.
