Team GB midfielder Aaron Ramsey expressed delight after helping his side to the quarter-finals of the Olympics men's football tournament with victory over Uruguay.
The 18-man squad have played together for just five games but posted a draw with Senegal and victories over the UAE and Walter Tabarez's side to seal their progress to the knockout stages.
Wednesday's win ensured that Stuart Pearce's men will now face South Korea at Cardiff in their next game, and Ramsey is confident they can keep progressing.
"I’m absolutely over the moon," the Arsenal playmaker told BBC.
"We knew this team had the qualities and we proved it again tonight and we’ve been together for such a short period of time and we’ve come so far, so quickly and we just showed again tonight what we’re about.
"We can move the ball around quickly and we were under pressure for the last 25 minutes but coped really well with that and we’re getting stronger as the tournament goes on. So we’re looking forward to the quarter-finals."
