Jol hoping Ruiz will show his worth for Fulham

Fulham manager Martin Jol is backing winger Bryan Ruiz to have a big impact on the club's 2012-13 Premier League campaign.
Ruiz moved to Craven Cottage from Twente last summer for 10 million pounds and scored twice in 30 appearances before his season was cut short by a broken foot.
But after scoring in Fulham's 3-0 preseason friendly win over Wycombe, Jol feels the Costa Rican can show why the Cottagers splashed out to bring him to the club and become a key player for the team.
"It was good to see Bryan Ruiz back to full fitness," Jol told reporters after the Wycombe game. "He showed some very good touches and I thought he was the best man on the pitch."
Jol said Ruiz needed six months to adapt to English soccer but he misse nearly half a year with the injury.
"Then he had a horrific injury and was out for four or five months, so I was very happy to see him back," Jol said.
