David Villa: Barcelona striker has recovered from broken leg sustained in December
Barcelona have received a double boost with the news that Dani Alves and David Villa are approaching full fitness.
Villa suffered a broken leg in December in the Club World Cup which kept him out of Spain's Euro 2012 triumph this summer.
However, the Barcelona striker is already terrorising his team-mates in training and keeper Jose Manuel Pinto posted a picture of his arm with a red mark, which was signed by Villa after he tried to save one of his shots in training.
Canon
"Believe me Villa is like a canon!," he tweeted. "I leave proof here signed by the person who took this fierce shot."
Alves is also back in training two months after he fractured his right collarbone.
The buccaneering full-back sustained the injury in May which forced him to miss the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao, but should now be fit for the start of the season.
