Mudingayi moves to Inter on loan

Bologna midfielder Gaby Mudingayi has moved to Inter Milan on a season-long loan, the club confirmed on Friday.
The Belgian midfielder was expected to sign for the club earlier in the month for a permanent transfer. Rossoblu president Albano Guaraldi had been expecting a package inclusive of both a transfer fee as well as a couple of Inter players but it appears as if the Nerrazzurri have only sanctioned a loan move for the player.
Inter also confirmed on their official website that they have the option to sign the player on a permanent basis at the end of the upcoming campaign.
The club, which ended last season in eighth place, have gone on an impressive spending spree and have already snapped up Genoa's Rodrigo Palacio and Udinese's Samir Handanovic and have taken Palermo's Matías Silvestre on a similar season-long loan.
Mudingayi has extensive experience in the Serie A and has made 197 appearances for both Lazio and Bologna over seven seasons.
The combative midfielder will likely deputise for Argentinean Esteban Cambiasso and joined the Inter squad for pre-season training on Friday.
