Stramaccioni expects Sneijder to stay

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni insists playmaker Wesley Sneijder will stay at the club despite earlier suggesting that the Dutchman could be for sale.
The rookie coach had fuelled speculation that Sneijder could be on his way out of the club when he revealed that no one at the club was indispensable.
However, he has since moved to clarify his comments, insisting that the Netherlands international is not for sale at any price.
"Today [Saturday] at the press conference I mentioned Wesley because I think that, right now, he is the Inter player with the highest market value," Stramaccioni told Sky Sport Italia.
"I immediately received worried phone calls from him, but I stressed to him that he is my No. 10 and he's not going anywhere."
The 36-year-old then went on to express his gratitude to club president Massimo Moratti for giving him the chance to take charge of the Nerazzurri, despite his lack of senior coaching experience.
"I have already said that the most satisfying thing is having received the president's great faith in me," he added.
"In Italian football, the media circus is important. In my opinion, the coach has to be first to assume his responsibilities, and that is how I am outside of the sport as well."
Stramaccioni had been in charge of Inter's youth side when he was put temporarily in charge at the end of last season after Claudio Ranieri was sacked, and did enough to convince Moratti to hand him the reins on a fulltime basis.
