Bad-boy Becks gets banned

DAVID BECKHAM has been banned for a game and fined an undisclosed amount for his ‘confrontational and provocative behaviour’.
The ex-England captain got into trouble during LA Galaxy’s 4-3 defeat at San Jose last weekend.
Beckham, 37, who was left out of the GB Olympic squad this week, was involved in a scuffle after getting angry at time-wasting.
He struck a San Jose player with the ball then argued with opposing players after the final whistle.
An MLS statement said: “His conduct was unacceptable and detrimental to the league’s public image.”
