Last bid to Bagg Ben
BAGGIES' TARGET ... goalkeeper Ben Foster

WEST BROM are set to make Birmingham a take-it-or-leave-it offer for keeper Ben Foster.

New Albion boss Steve Clarke wants Foster, who was on loan at The Hawthorns last season, to be his first signing.

But there is a stand-off over the fee.

Cash-strapped Brum want £6million but the Baggies are prepared to walk away if a planned £3.75m bid is rejected.

Albion sporting director Dan Ashworth said: “If we can’t find a solution that suits them and us, we’ll have to move on.”
