Real Betis contemplating swoop for Sun Xiang

Real Betis are reportedly considering making a move for Guangzhou Evergrande winger Sun Xiang.
According to AS, the Verdiblancos took advantage of the fact that China were in Seville at the weekend for a friendly against Spain to speak with coach Jose Antonio Camacho.
Betis apparently quizzed the former Real Madrid boss about Sun, who is no stranger to European football, having previously enjoyed loan spells with both PSV Eindhoven and Austria Vienna.
However, the Liga outfit were keen to establish whether Camacho feels the 30-year-old could be the answer to their left-sided problems.
AS claim that Betis are also acutely aware of the fact that signing Sun, who is a major star in his homeland, would enable them to tap into the lucrative Chinese market, having already announced their intention to tour the country this summer.
Should the versatile wide player ultimately move to the Benito Villamarin, he would become the first Chinese player to play in the Primera Division.
