Bielsa extends contract with Athletic Bilbao

Former Argentina national coach Marcelo Bielsa extended his contract with last season's Europa League finalists Athletic Bilbao for another year, the club announced on its website.
The 56-year-old - who guided Argentina to 2004 Olympic glory - will be under contract to the Basque outfit till June 2013.
Bielsa, who is also a former coach of Chile who he took to the second round of the 2010 World Cup, had a successful season with Bilbao not only taking them to the Europa League final, they lost 3-0 to Atletico Madrid, but also to the Spanish Cup final in which they also lost 3-0 to Barcelona.
