Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain is set to make his full England debut in Saturday’s friendly clash with Belgium, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The Arsenal youngster made a cameo in last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Norway, and his inclusion in the first XI for the game at Wembley suggests the 18-year-old could be in line for a prominent role at Euro 2012.
Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson is also expected to hand Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck his second international cap, with the 21-year-old winning his fitness battle to feature.
Chelsea trio John Terry, Ashley Cole and Gary Cahill could all return in defence having linked up with the squad earlier this week following their Champions League success, although Frank Lampard has since been ruled of the tournament in Poland & Ukraine.
While the midfielder’s absence follows that of Manchester City man Gareth Barry, Hodgson has received positive news over Scott Parker’s fitness, with the Tottenham player set to overcome his Achilles problems.
