Nani weighing up United exit

HARDBALL ... Nani
NANI could be tempted to quit Manchester United.
The Portuguese winger, 25, has 18 months left on his current deal and is being offered a huge pay rise from £90,000 to £130,000 a week over the next four years.
But United claim they will listen to offers if Nani starts playing hardball — and the player himself is thinking about moving on.
He said: “I have fulfilled five seasons with United and obtained all the titles.
“I am happy but I am not saying anything about my future. I am studying all openings. Football is not all about only England or Spain. It’s possible to fight for success in other countries.
“My agent is waiting for news about United. We have presented a counter-offer and now it depends what the club thinks.”
Nani has just completed one of his less impressive seasons, with Ecuador’s Antonio Valencia outshining him from the New Year onwards.
Now he wants to make up for United’s pain at losing their Prem title to neighbours City by helping Portugal take Euro 2012 by storm.
And he has an extra incentive, having been sidelined for the last World Cup with a shoulder injury.
He added: “It was a pain to miss the league title in the last minutes of the last match. City had incredible luck. Now I want this Euro to be my Euro. I think we can win it. If I perform well, the better the team will be. Cristiano Ronaldo and I are the best pair of wingers in the world.”
