Antonio Conte: Juventus coach will remain with the Turin giants until 2015
Juventus coach Antonio Conte has signed a new three-year contract with the Serie A champions that will keep him with the Turin giants until June 2015.
The 42-year-old led the Bianconeri to the Scudetto with an unbeaten record in his first season in charge this campaign.
And his efforts have now been rewarded with a lucrative new deal that runs until 2015.
In a video interview on the club's official website, reproduced by Corriere Dello Sport, Conte said: "It's definitely a good day because it gives continuity to a dream of mine.
"It is a great sign of esteem that fills me with pride and definitely pushes me to try to do better."
Conte, who previously coached both Siena and Bari to promotion into Serie A, has urged the club's board of directors to show ambition as they bid to build on their title win with further success at home and in Europe.
"Last May, the company's intention was to build year upon year and take Juve to the top," said the former Juve midfielder.
"We were able to be immediately successful in the league; now there will be a new challenge in Europe, where we try to consolidate what we have done well.
"We have a young team of which many elements will be retained. They have done a great job. Now it will be up to the (general) director (Giuseppe) Marotta and the club to try to expand this base and make it even stronger."
