Evra: England can emulate Chelsea at Euro 2012

France defender Patrice Evra believes that England will hope to reproduce Chelsea's spirit, following their unlikely run to Champions League victory, ahead of Euro 2012.
England meet Laurent Blanc's men in Donetsk on July 11, in what will be both sides' opening game of Group D in Poland and Ukraine.
And the 31-year-old is adamant that Chelsea's European Cup win, in which they defied the odds to beat Bayern Munich on the German outfit's home turf after a sensational semi-final triumph against Barcelona, will give the national side added impetus.
He told The Sun: “I take the example of Chelsea. They were at rock bottom when [Roberto] Di Matteo took over.
“But they’ve ended up as champions of Europe. The England team remain the team who really want to beat us.”
The Three Lions will be without Evra's Manchester United team-mate Wayne Rooney for the opener, after he was handed a two-match ban for his kick at Montenegro defender Miodrag Dzudovic.
