Albion entertain Elgin in their Scottish Second Division play-off semi-final second leg without suspended defender Michael O'Byrne.

The 23-year-old picked up a red card during the 1-0 defeat at Borough Briggs and joins player-assistant manager Todd Lumsden and midfielder Ryan McStay on the sidelines.

Midfielders Chris Boyle and Tony Stevenson, though, are included after completing two-game suspensions.

Wee Rovers manager Paul Martin has ruled out Danny Ferry with a hamstring injury and has subsequently recalled Steven Canning from his loan spell at Bo'ness Juniors.

Martin said: "We are players down and a goal down but we have given themselves a fighting chance by standing together in the first leg.

"Elgin are the favourites as they have a one-goal advantage but we are in there fighting."

Elgin are without the injured duo of captain Paul Kaczan and player-assistant manager Barry Wilson.

Ross Jack has urged his City charges to banish any thoughts of sitting in and defending their slender one-goal advantage at Cliftonhill.

Jack said: "Albion Rovers defended brilliantly once they went down to 10 men in the first meeting and I think they have an advantage as they are at home.

"We are in for a really tough afternoon and I do not see the point in going down there and looking to defend for the 90 minutes.

"We will be treating things like a game at half-time when the scoreline is blank and we need a win.

"We will only do that by playing really well."
