Stu can only have Giggs

ONE AND ONLY ... Giggs will be only over-age Utd player at Olympics
MANCHESTER UNITED have told the FA Ryan Giggs is the only over-age player they will release for the Olympics.
GB coach Stuart Pearce will NOT be able to pick Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand or Jonny Evans as over-23 players.
According to a 2008 court ruling, clubs have the right to refuse to release players for the competition as it is not on the international calendar.
United have written to the FA, saying they are only taking that position on their over-age players.
So Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling could be part of the Olympic line-up if they are not picked for the England Euro 2012 squad.
And Old Trafford boss Alex Ferguson will not stand in the way of Giggs, 38, being part of London 2012 as the Welshman has never played in a major international tournament.
Giggs has indicated he would accept an invitation — each squad is allowed three over-age players — so long as the FA of Wales did not oppose him doing so.
Sources at the FAW have confirmed that while they are politically opposed to a GB team, they would not prevent Giggs taking part.
