JONJO SHELVEY can see a big future at Liverpool – after making a spectacle of himself while celebrating his first Premier League goal.
The Kop midfielder volleyed Ross Turnbull’s clearance straight back into the net from 40 yards during the 4-1 win over Chelsea.
Shelvey, 20, immediately cupped both hands in front of his eyes as if he was wearing glasses.
He explained: “I celebrated like that because my brother wears glasses – everyone in the family wears glasses except for me.
“He and I like a bit of banter. He was up in the box and it was a nice moment.”
