Tesser wants to go out with a bang

The city of Novara will host its last Serie A match for the foreseeable future when rock-bottom Cesena come to town on Sunday.
The fixture is Novara's last home match of the campaign.
With two rounds of games remaining, Novara, like Cesena, are already doomed to Serie B football.
Attilio Tesser's side will return to the second tier just 12 months after gaining promotion to Italy's top flight.
Wednesday's 2-2 draw at Fiorentina left the Piedmont club in 19th place, 10 points behind Genoa, who hold the last position of safety.
"My players gave their all against Fiorentina but it was not to be," Tesser said. "It's a pity because we really wanted to win that game.
"We are disappointed with our campaign and perhaps we could have done better in certain games."
Novara have mustered just six wins in 36 games and have the worst backline in the competition behind Genoa with 63 goals conceded.
"We will try to end the campaign in the best possible way," Tesser said. "I hope we can play well on Sunday and give our fans some joy.
"We end the campaign at the San Siro against AC Milan and there will be motivation to do well in that game."
Cesena travel to the Silvio Piola stadium eager to end a dismal run of form.
Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Udinese was their third straight defeat and left the Cavalucci Marini rooted to the bottom of the table, seven points adrift of Novara.
Mario Beretta's men have won only four times this season and have the worst attack in the league with only 22 goals in 36 games.
The visitors will be without suspended midfielder Roberto Guana.
Moreover, midfielders Giuseppe Colucci and Simone Del Nero are both out injured.
