Cowdenbeath player-manager Colin Cameron will miss out against Airdrie following surgery on his knee.
David Cowan has also been ruled out of the Blue Brazil's title party due to a hamstring injury, with Kenny Adamson, Greg Stewart and Mark Ramsay all facing fitness tests.
Jon Robertson, though, has been passed fit to play in his last Scottish Second Division game before moving to the Scottish Premier League with St Mirren.
Cameron said: "Airdrie are coming here as the form side and with a lot to play for and that will actually help us as we will have to be on our game in front of a big crowd.
"This is a great day for the club and we do not want to put a dampener on it by not winning."
Airdrie are missing suspended duo Ryan Donnelly and Willie McLaren as they look to secure a play-off place.
Diamonds manager Jimmy Boyle has also ruled out the injured pair of Graeme Owens and Phil Johnston for the game at Central Park.
Boyle's side are two goals better off than promotion rivals Stenhousemuir, however Boyle is not setting his side a goal target
He said: "Defeating Cowdenbeath on their own patch will be hard enough without saying to the players that you have to do it by this amount of goals to be sure.
"We are a few players down but I believe that we have a strong enough squad to get a win."
