Relegated Queen of the South will have former Scotland international Allan Johnston in charge for the first time as they host champions Ross County at Palmerston.
Johnston was appointed on Thursday night to replace Gus McPherson, who left after last Saturday's defeat by Raith which confirmed that the Dumfries side will be playing in the Second Division next season.
The Doonhamers will be without Chris Higgins, who is banned, and Marc McCusker, who remains out with a hip problem. Craig Reid, Stephen Simmons and Nicky Clark are all struggling.
Johnston said: "It is a pretty tough baptism but one I am looking forward to. Ross County are in terrific form just now but I want us to go out and give them a right hard game."
Champions Ross County will be missing striker Sam Morrow, who has a rib injury, as they bring the curtain down on a historic season.
Defenders David McNamee and Marc Fitzpatrick both remain out with respective wrist and ankle injuries.
County manager Derek Adams is not sure what to expect from the relegated hosts.
He said: "I thought we may have been going there for a game with a very flat atmosphere but the appointment of Allan Johnston may just see a bit of excitement about the ground.
"We are looking to make it 34 games in a row without a defeat and a winning record margin to the club that finishes second, so there is plenty to play for."
