Manchester United are close to finalising a move for Borussia Dortmund playmaker Shinji Kagawa.
The Japan international has refused to agree a new deal with the Bundesliga champions and has his heart set on a move to England, according to the German side's president.
Michael Zorc said: "Shinji is going to play in England because he has officially rejected our offer of a new contract."
TalkSPORT understands Kagawa, who has scored 13 goals in the German top flight this season from 30 appearances, is set sign a three-year deal at Old Trafford.
United are willing to part with around £7m for his services as his contract expires in 2013, with the 23-year-old expected to earn around £5m-a-season.
