I have a say

Luis Garcia concedes his Getafe side must overcome the odds to claim a Europa League place but has urged them to "keep the dream" alive against Mallorca.

The European places are still open with four rounds remaining in the Primera Division, with only five points separating Levante in fifth and Mallorca in 12th.

Getafe are one place and two points ahead of their opponents and boss Garcia is still hopeful of gatecrashing the top six.

"We have many teams ahead of us still and if we do not (make the Europa League) we will not be disappointed. But we will not lower our rate...it's a key game to keep the dream.

"I am very happy and focused and the players are too."

Garcia also confirmed Moroccan midfielder Abdel Barrada was fit for starting duty despite being reduced to a substitute role in the last four games, against Granada, Sevilla, Barcelona and Sporting Gijon.

"He suffered an injury but he soon recovered, he is ready to play. If he has been playing it is because I was very happy with those who were playing in his place."

There was less positive news about injured trio Juan Valera, Rafa Lopez and Pedro Leon, who do not yet look ready to return to the senior squad.

"Valera is the same (as before), while Rafa and Pedro are further back physically," he said.

Mallorca midfielder Fernando Tissone, who is a doubt for the match with an ankle injury, has promised his side will also do their all to stay in contention for the Europa League but acknowledges their prospects are even more slight than Getafe.

"The games that are coming are a bonus, we can play with tranquility but also with utmost responsibility. We will be going for a stroll.

"But the possibility is remote because there are many teams involved; teams who aspire for the Champions League and who must fight for a spot in the Europa League; teams have to be in Europe and who have more experience in fighting for these goals."
