HOMEWARD BOUND? ... Dirk Kuyt
LIVERPOOL’S out-of-favour striker Dirk Kuyt has been given a ‘now or never’ offer from his old club Feyenoord.
The Dutch outfit have want the 31-year-old international, who was top scorer in all three of his seasons with the Rotterdam side before moving to Anfield back in summer 2006.
Feyenoord have promised to make Kuyt the highest-paid star in the club’s history if he puts pen to paper in the summer.
But they also made it clear this is a one-time only opportunity to return to the De Kuip stadium.
A top Dutch source revealed: “Feyenoord have made Kuyt a great offer to come home.
“He is still a hero in Rotterdam and they’d love him back.
“But because he’s 31 now, Feyenoord have made it clear it would have to be next season or never.”
Kuyt is weighing up his options after being told he can leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
