Figo: Real Madrid will win La Liga

Former Portugal international Luis Figo is of the opinion that Real Madrid has one hand on the Liga title following Saturday's Clasico victory over Barcelona.

The Santiago Bernabeu outfit defeated its Catalan arch-rival 2-1 at Camp Nou to become seven points clear at the top of the table with only four matches remaining.

Barca coach Pep Guardiola conceded the Liga title to Madrid after the match, and Figo, who played at both clubs, does not think that Los Blancos will slip up again.

"Real Madrid will be champions," Figo told reporters on a visit to a school in Sintra. "With the advantage they have secured, it will be very hard for the title to slip through their fingers."

Madrid will host Sevilla in its next Liga fixture, while Barca visits Rayo Vallecano.
