Morton could be missing an entire midfield for the visit of title winners Ross County.

Iain Flannigan is ruled out after having surgery on an elbow problem and Fouad Bachirou is a major doubt after injuring a toe against Hamilton last Saturday.

The game looks to have come too soon for the injured pair of David O'Brien and Michael Tidser, with injured captain Stuart McCaffrey remaining out to leave Cappielow manager Allan Moore short of options.

Moore said: "It is not ideal but we just need to get on with things. We know that we need to get results to ensure we are not involved in relegation issues.

"County are a strong side but we came back from two down to draw at their place recently and can take confidence from that."

County will look to make it 32 games in a row without defeat and they welcome back midfielder Stuart Kettlewell from a ban.

However, Rocco Quinn drops out after being sent off against Dundee last weekend.

Mark Fitzpatrick is a major doubt with an ankle injury and David McNamee's wrist problem keeps him out.

Dingwall manager Derek Adams said: "This will be a difficult game for us as Cappielow is never an easy ground to go to. Morton will be very dangerous opponents especially as they need the win to avoid getting dragged into things beneath them.

"The title may be won but we are determined that we keep our unbeaten run going until the end of the season."
