I have a say

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech says his side is confident of getting a result in their Champions League semifinal second leg clash with Barcelona.

The Blues triumphed 1-0 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night but face a daunting trip to Spain where they must attempt to hold that slender lead.

However, the west London outfit has avoided defeat in its last three trips to Camp Nou, something Cech believes gives them a boost ahead of the second leg.

"We've done well in the past there and need to reproduce the same kind of performance that we did and like we have before,” Cech told Sky Sports.

"It will be really important to score an away goal as well but we seem always to score there and, hopefully, we can replicate that."

The Czech keeper also acknowledged that his side will spend large periods of the game chasing the ball but believes it can triumph if it replicates its dogged performance at Stamford Bridge.

He added: "This performance was all about the focus and concentration, to stay disciplined all the time and not give them space, even though you could run for three minutes and not see the ball.

"We had to fight from the first to the last minute. We've done the maximum we could do against such a great side. We've had some good results against them in the past and used that experience again. We made it really tight, but will have to play the same way in the second leg."
