Grand day out ... Kai and Coleen at the racecourse

HE may be too young to gamble but Kai Roony is having a bet-ter time than most at the Grand National Meet.

The two-year-old joined mum Coleen in the VIP area at Aintree racecourse, near her native Liverpool, for the biggest event of the racing calendar.

And he had everyone eating out of his hand with his cheeky face and toothy grin.

The toddler, the spitting image of his footballer dad Wayne, giggled as he horsed around with the race programme.

But mum was in no mood to nag, smiling proudly as he shook hands with a well-wisher over a green fence.

Coleen started the day optimistically, in a sleeveless summer dress, with a floral print, and sunglasses.
