Stirling vs Cowdenbeath preview - Fagan back for Binos

Stirling welcome back midfielder Shaun Fagan and striker Kevin Kelbie from injury as they host Scottish Second Division leaders Cowdenbeath.

The duo's return gives Binos' manager Greig McDonald a full squad to pick from.

Stirling go into the game boosted by victory at Brechin last week and with the knowledge that they have both Albion Rovers and Forfar in their sights.

McDonald said: "We can take on Cowdenbeath with a bit of confidence as we did really well against them in our last meeting when we drew and also from our display at Glebe Park.

"We know that the right combination of results would take us off bottom spot and whilst not many people will be expecting us to come out on top, that is our target."

Cowdenbeath are without the suspended Kenny Adamson.

The defender picked up a red card against Arbroath last weekend and will not feature at the Doubletree Dunblane Stadium.

The Blue Brazil have also lost on-loan midfielder Gary Fisher as he broke a bone in his foot against the Smokies. He has returned to parent club Kilmarnock.

Defender David Cowan is expected to return to action following a hamstring injury, with manager Colin Cameron now telling his men to forget about the 3-2 defeat to their title-chasing rivals.

Cameron said: "There is no point in feeling sorry for ourselves and in fact I am really pleased with how we played after losing a man midway through the first half.

"There are four games to go and we are four points ahead so there is plenty to be positive about."
