Dortmund attacker Mario Gotze has heaped praise on Germany international team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The two will face off head-to-head in Wednesday's Bundesliga showdown, and Gotze feels that the Bayern Munich man is the best midfielder his country has to offer.
"Bastian is the best in his position in Germany," the 19-year-old told Kicker.
Gotze also admitted that heading into the match, which pits title holders and current leaders BVB against German record champions FCB, the Bavarians are still a class above their championship rivals.
"They are a bit ahead, if you look at the past few years in the Champions League or in the DFB-Pokal. But things can change, we are well on our way."
However, Gotze insists that his team will not only extend their 23-game unbeaten streak, but win their fourth consecutive match against Bayern: "Borussia will wlin 2-1," he offered as his prediction.
"We're playing at home," he explained. "It is abundantly clear that against Bayern, we will need to give more than 100 per cent. After winning the last three games against them, we know how such a game feels - and how we must act."
Kick-off from the Signal Iduna Park is scheduled for 20.00 CET.
