BRAN BAN ... Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic faces suspension
BRANISLAV IVANOVIC will miss Chelsea’s next three games after punching Wigan’s Shaun Maloney.
Referee Mike Jones missed the incident in the build-up to Juan Mata’s stoppage-time winner on Saturday.
But eagle-eyed Match of the Day viewers saw Ivanovic punching Maloney in the stomach off the ball.
And the Serbian defender will be hit with a three-match ban for violent conduct when the footage is viewed by the FA’s disciplinary panel today.
He will miss Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Spurs at Wembley as well as vital Prem games against Arsenal and QPR.
