Tev the hero!
YOU'RE THE MAN ... Roberto and Tev are talking again

"He is an important player for us and he needs another two or three weeks to get good form for the future.

"But I am also happy because we showed great desire and character to win this game."

But Mancini was critical of Mario Balotelli, who was hauled off at the break after a dismal performance.

The City boss said: "I didn't like how he played, so I made a tactical sub."

Gary Cahill's deflected strike gave Chelsea a shock lead before Sergio Aguero's 78th-minute penalty levelled it.

Then Tevez, who came on with 25 minutes remaining, produced a sublime pass for Nasri's crucial winner.

Nasri said: "It's so great to have Carlos back with us, I'm really happy for him.

"He has shown great spirit since he's been back and showed in this match he can be really important for us until the end of the season."

Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo praised Fernando Torres, who was upset at being substituted after another ineffective display.

Di Matteo said: "That was a good sign and it's not a problem. I thought he was terrific and the whole team were, too.

"We were just unfortunate not to get a point."
