Regret: Krasic rues Spurs snub
The highly-rated Serbian, 27, was linked with a move to the Premier League in January after falling out of favour under Juve manager Antonio Conte, but failed to secure a move away from Italy before the transfer window closed.
Spurs were known to be in negotiations with Krasic over a potential loan move, but the former CSKA Moscow man decided to stay in Turin, which he now acknowledges was an error in hindsight.
‘At the end of the transfer window in January, there were offers from Tottenham and Zenit [St Petersburg] for a loan deal,’ Krasic told Vecernje Novosti.
‘I decided to decline those options in the belief that I would be given chances at Juventus.
‘That has proven to be a mistake and it would have been better if I had accepted one of those offers.’
