Livingston vs Hamilton FC preview - Brown blow for Livi
Posted Friday, March 16, 2012 by PA
Livingston defender Jonathan Brown is again missing as the Friday night football experiment is tried out at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium when Hamilton visit.
Livi boss John Hughes has other concerns as Liam Fox, David Sinclair and Stefan Scougall are all doubts and Kevin McCann looks set to be involved as a trialist for a second time.
Hughes said: "It was great to get back to winning ways with a 3-1 win at Morton last week and it will be good to win this game especially as it has a bit of extra focus by being played early.
"Hamilton are coming here looking to bounce back after two defeats but we have the chance to move up to fourth and I want us to take it."
Hamilton will be without their exciting young prospect Stephen Hendrie.
The youngster has been called up for Scotland Under-17 duty and is therefore unavailable for Accies.
Mark McLaughlin and Jon McShane are both back in contention for places, but Ali Crawford's knee injury keeps him out.
Manager Billy Reid said: "We managed to win our first Friday night game when we beat Partick Thistle and it would be great to win the second and climb above Livingston in the table.
"They will be on a high after beating Morton last weekend but if we can improve our forward play we will do okay. We are creating chances but need to do more in the final third to get goals."
