Barcelona vice-president Carles Villarrubi has said that he is certain that coach Pep Guardiola will stay at the club beyond the end of the season.
The 41-year-old trainer's current deal expires in the summer and he has always been cryptic when asked if he plans to sign a new contract with the club.
Inter and Chelsea have been credited with an interest in Guardiola, but the feeling at Camp Nou is that the coach will not leave in June.
"He knows he is at home at the club and that Barcelona's fans are with him," Villarrubi told TV3.
"It will end well. He will remain at our home.
"I think he has demonstrated that he has a high sense of responsibility and he will not drag this to a point where it can damage us."
Guardiola has helped Barcelona to win 13 titles since succeeding Frank Rijkaard as coach in 2008.
