Stenhousemuir will be without Brown Ferguson and Sean Dickson when they host Stirling Albion.
Trialist winger Sean Fitzharris is a doubt after picking up a knock in the 1-0 defeat by Albion Rovers in midweek.
Assistant manager Kevin McGoldrick said: "We went to Forfar last weekend and played really well in our win, however on Tuesday we started poorly and just never got going.
"We need to hit a high level of performance and stick to it as inconsistency is holding us back.
"Stirling will be confident after a good run but we need the points just as much as they do."
Albion have striker Scott Davidson back after a ban as they attempt to extend their unbeaten run to four games.
Manager Greig McDonald has selection problems as Brian Allison, Shaun Fagan, Shaun Dillon and Craig McLeish all miss out with knocks.
McDonald said: "We defeated Stenhousemuir in my first game in charge at the beginning of the year so we know we can do it.
"We are respectful all the same as they gave us a bit of a runaround in the last game at their place and won 4-0.
"Things are incredibly tight in this league so we have to target three points from Ochilview to ensure that we do not go bottom."
