Luis Enrique: I'm staying at Roma for another four or five years

Roma coach Luis Enrique insists that he intends to remain at the Stadio Olimpico for at least another four years.

Speculation is rife that Barcelona will make a move for its former B team boss should Pep Guardiola decide to walk away from Camp Nou at the end of the season.

However, Luis Enrique insists that he is not even thinking about returning to Catalunya before the end of his contract with the Giallorossi as he hopes the club's fans will stick by him in light of their back-to-back Serie A defeats against Atalanta and Lazio.

"Will I stay the next year? I do not care about this; I'm interested in tomorrow's game [against Palermo] and [getting] good results," the former Blaugrana midfielder told reporters on Friday.

"I want to give satisfaction to the fans, who are always faithful. You must bear with me for another four to five years minimum. In football you never know; things always depend on the results. But I am a man of his word. It is normal that there are difficulties sometimes but I will remain in my position."

Meanwhile, Luis Enrique was unable to provide any update on whether captain Francesco Totti, who limped out of training on Thursday with a thigh problem, would be available for the trip to Sicily.

"There is no news; today we will see," he explained. "I'm not worried, I'm sorry that there are some injured players but we have substitutes. I think we have enough players and there is always the Primavera."
