Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes does not fear that he could get the sack from the Bundesliga giant following the team's disappointing performances after the winter break.
The Bavarians have dropped to second spot in the table in the second half of the season and are seven points behind leader Borussia Dortmund.
Additionally, the club lost the first leg of its Champions League round of 16 tie against Basel, and a number of reports suggest that Heynckes could get the sack if Bayern fails to qualify for the quarterfinals.
Nevertheless, the former Bayer Leverkusen coach is not too worried about his future at Bayern.
"I have an ongoing contract here, and I expect to fulfill this contract. What the outside world has to say on the matter is not my problem and does not affect me," Heynckes said in a press conference.
Bayern is currently preparing for Saturday's Bundesliga match at home against Hoffenheim.
