East Fife vs Brechin City preview - White banned for Fifers

East Fife entertain Brechin with interim manager Gordon Durie without former Glebe Park defender David White after he was dismissed in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Arbroath.
Fellow centre-back Steven Campbell is struggling after picking up a knock at Gayfield but David Muir is available again to cover and John Ovenstone could also return.
Durie has targeted a win in his first home game in charge and said: "We are in fifth place just now so beating Brechin would be fantastic as it keeps the pressure on Stenhousemuir above us and opens up a gap on our opponents below us."
The former Scotland international added: "The players did really well in coming back from two goals down after 15 minutes [against Arbroath] and we could have won it."
Brechin can jump above East Fife and their depleted squad welcomes back Scott Buist from suspension to help them in their pursuit of their first win of the season over the Fifers.
David McClune, Charlie King, Gerry McLauchlan and Derek Carcary all miss out again with manager Jim Weir looking for his men to bounce back after the disappointment of losing a two-goal lead to Dumbarton on Saturday.
Weir said: "We have a real incentive to win this game and that is to get into fifth place and on the shoulders of the sides chasing a play-off spot.
"We would be there already if we had held on to our lead but we will dust ourselves down and get on with things."
