I have a say

Livingston are again without Jonathan Brown and David Sinclair as they look for revenge over an Ayr side that beat them 3-1 recently.

After an opening win under the stewardship of manager John Hughes against Raith, the Lions have lost twice.

But Hughes is not for changing the style of play he wants the West Lothian youngsters to display.

Hughes said: "The players have been playing really good football from the goalkeeper all the way up to the forward line. That has been really pleasing but they do show their inexperience at times and that has cost us.

"The players are learning all the time and I am sure if they take those in against Ayr we will play well and pick up points."

Ayr manager Brian Reid has praised his small squad ahead of the trip.

Reid has been impressed with how they have coped in the continued absence of the experienced John Robertson, Martyn Campbell, Alan Trouten and Sean Higgins through injury.

Reid said: "The players are small in number but big in heart and they deserve great credit for the commitment they are showing. When you consider they cannot get a rest as we have four of our most experienced guys out injured it really has been a terrific effort.

"We will travel to Livingston confident after beating them at our place a week past Saturday and then defeating Falkirk at the weekend but we will not get carried away as this league is incredibly tight."
