Kyle Walker's Spurs form has seen him linked with Real Madrid
Kyle Walker of Spurs and Liverpool's Glen Johnson are on a list of right-back targets drawn up by Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
The La Liga leaders are keen to strengthen their defence during the summer transfer window and are now monitoring the form of a number of players.
Their scouts have been active in England and have apparently identified Tottenham's rising star Walker as having the potential to succeed in Madrid.
Should they decide to follow up their interest in the 21-year-old with a bid, they are likely to find Spurs are unwilling to sell.
Johnson, meanwhile, is well known to Real boss Jose Mourinho, as the pair worked together at Chelsea.
He struggled to force his way into the Blues first team under Mourinho, but has improved since then and established himself as first choice for England during Fabio Capello's time in charge.
It is far from certain Madrid will opt for a Premier League star though, as they are also looking at five other players, reports Intereconomia.
They include Ajax's Gregory van der Wiel, Bayern Munich's Rafinha, Danilo of Porto and Mario Fernandes of Gremio.
The final name on the list is Mauricio Isla, who has been strongly linked with Liverpool since indicating he is likely to leave Udinese at the end of the season.
