FIFA are not nuts on Brazil
NOT IMPRESSED ... Jerome Valcke

FIFA bigwig Jerome Valcke says Brazil need a "kick up the a**e" ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

Secretary general Valcke admitted England fans could face major transport and accommodation woes if the team qualifies.

He said: "I don't understand why things are not moving. The stadiums are not on schedule any more and why are a lot of things late?

"In 2014 we'll have a World Cup. The concern is that nothing is made or prepared to receive so many people as the world wants to go to Brazil.

"I'm sorry to say but things are not working in Brazil. You expect more support — there are these endless discussions about the World Cup bill.

"We should have received these documents signed by 2007 and we are in 2012.

"You have to push yourself, kick your a**e, deliver this World Cup and that is what we'll do."

Valcke said there was no plan B for an alternative host and the tournament would go ahead — but warned the fans could suffer.

He added: "There's not enough hotels and transport must improve.

"We made the decision to move the teams around the country, which means we were criticised as if you follow a team you must fly 8,000km.

"Brazil didn't want part of the country with England and most of the nation without."
