Forfar's Michael Bolochoweckyj is suspended for their clash with visitors Stenhousemuir.
The Loons looking to build on Tuesday's win over East Fife and keep heading towards mid-table respectability.
Defenders Joe Shaughnessy and Jamie Bishop miss out through knee injuries, striker Ross Campbell also remains absent with a knock with Barry Sellars a doubt.
Station Park assistant manager Ian Campbell said: "We played well the other night and deserved our win and that followed on from a good opening 45 minutes against Albion Rovers.
"We still need wins to move upwards in the table and that has to be our aim against Stenhousemuir."
"It should be a good game as they will be looking for a win to keep hold of their play-off spot."
Stenhousemuir welcome on-loan Livingston striker Kenny Deuchar to their ranks as they look to end a run of three straight defeats that has seen them slip 10 points behind Dumbarton in third place.
The Warriors are also boosted by the return of Eric Paton and the availability of Kevin McKinlay after a head knock, however Sean Dickson is out with a thigh strain.
Assistant manager Kevin McGoldrick said: "We did not deserve to take anything from Dumbarton in midweek but we need to pick up points and get going again.
"We have to start games better than we have been doing as we lost a goal within a minute in midweek and were chasing the game after that."
