First Division leaders Ross County will again be without defender Marc Fitzpatrick and midfielder Stuart Kettlewell as they look to defeat visitors Morton.

A victory would represent only their second win in seven games and Derek Adams' side could take full advantage of Falkirk and Dundee playing each other.

Adams said: "We lost a bit of ground at the weekend when we drew with Ayr but we have the chance to get back to winning ways really quickly.

"Morton will make it very difficult but if we are a bit more clinical in front of goal we can pick up the three points.

"We have a few other players with bumps and bruises after 3 games in a week so we will need to check on a few of them before confirming our line up."

Morton goalkeeper Colin Stewart will need a pain-killing injection into his broken toe before kick-off against one of his former clubs .

Stuart McCaffrey remains out injured and Derek Young looks set to be absent with an ankle injury with manager Allan Moore telling his men that they will need to play for the entire 90 minutes.

Moore said: "We did not turn up at all in the first half against Partick Thistle on Saturday and were lucky to go in all square. We have to ensure we turn up for the kick-off as Ross County could have the game won if we do not.

"The players have bounced back from the Scottish Cup disaster at Motherwell so we will travel up with confidence."
