I have a say

Partick boss Jackie McNamara lists the same squad that drew with Morton at the weekend as Ayr visit Firhill.

New recruit Conrad Balatoni will therefore miss out again due to a lack of recent games with McNamara convinced that his men will come good.

The Firhill manager said: "We are not getting the goals our play deserves as we are creating chances but not taking them.

"There is a really fine line between the teams in this Division and if we get a break in front of goal then we will get that first win of 2012.

"Ayr will be difficult opponents but hopefully we can get the goals that will get us a win."

Ayr boss Brian Reid is short of bodies as they head to Glasgow.

Hamstring injury victim Andy Geggan and the suspended Jonathan Tiffoney are the latest Honest Men to become unavailable.

Martyn Campbell, Alan Trouten and Sean Higgins all remain out injured, with Reid saying: "We are beyond the bare bones and I have been working on getting a couple of loan players in. I will need to step that up before kick-off against Thistle.

"We can move off the bottom with a win and whilst we are short of numbers, it is a good prize to aim for. We can play better than we did at Ross County on Saturday and if we can pick up three points everyone will be delighted."
