Stirling Albion vs Cowdenbeath preview - McCulloch worry for Stirling

I have a say

Stirling's experienced full-back Marc McCulloch remains an injury doubt as Albion look to do battle with league leaders Cowdenbeath for a second time in 10 days.

Winger Joshua Flood is ruled out through suspension following his dismissal in the Central Park meeting that the Blue Brazil won 4-1.

Manager Greig McDonald said: "We don't have a good record against Cowdenbeath recently but we have the chance to put that right and move off bottom spot with a win.

"If we are to do anything we have to put in a 90-minute performance as we did well at their place before falling out of things and it was the same against Brechin at the weekend."

Second Division leaders Cowdenbeath have selection problems of the wrong kind for their top-versus-bottom meeting.

The Blue Brazil have four defenders missing as injuries rule out Joe Mbu, Thomas O'Brien and David Cowan, while Scott Linton is suspended following his dismissal against Arbroath on Saturday.

Player-manager Colin Cameron also remains sidelined due to a medial ligament injury but Lee Makel could return after a chest infection.

Cameron said: "This will be a tough game as Stirling gave us a lot of problems in our recent meeting before we got to grips with things.

"They will be wanting the points just as much as we do so we have to be focused throughout the game."
