Hamilton look set to have David Hutton between the sticks against Falkirk after fellow keepers Tomas Cerny and Scott Christie left the club.

Cerny parted from his contract with the Accies early while Christie opted against extending his trial period at New Douglas Park.

Mark McLaughlin and Ali Crawford have also been ruled out as manager Billy Reid looks for a positive response following the side's 2-1 home defeat against Morton in midweek.

He said: "I am looking for a huge improvement in our game from Morton as that was hugely disappointing.

"We played well against Falkirk here earlier in the season and they nicked a win."

Reid also singled out Moroccan striker Farid El Alagui as Falkirk's main weapon, saying: "We need to keep [him] quiet as he is a huge threat."

Falkirk expect to have a full squad available for the short trip south.

The Bairns are looking to get their title charge going again following the disappointment of going out of the Scottish Cup against Ayr on Wednesday.

Technical director Alex Smith said: "We have one or two guys who are complaining of little niggles after the cup game but I expect them to be available.

"We played really well in the first half at Somerset Park so it was a sore one to take when we lost but we are looking forward to going to Hamilton.

"It is important for us to get a good result in this game and keep the pressure on Ross County at the top of the table."
