Injury-hit Barcelona hosts Valencia in Copa semis

Barcelona’s depleted squad has to overcome Valencia in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals, while third-division club Mirandes needs to overturn an initial defeat against Athletic Bilbao to reach its first final.
Mirandes is only the third team from below the second division to have reached the last four, but has to overcome a 2-1 first-leg loss on Tuesday at Bilbao’s San Mames stadium.
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola will likely have to tap into his reserves as Andres Iniesta, Alexis Sanchez, Pedro Rodriguez and Sergio Busquets are all doubtful with injuries ahead of Valencia’s visit to the Camp Nou on Wednesday. The teams drew 1-1 in the first leg.
