Lambert: Norwich aren’t safe from relegation yet

Norwich City manager Paul Lambert believes his side aren’t quite safe from relegation despite their eighth win of the season, a 2-0 win over Bolton, as they remain in ninth position.
The Canaries, promoted from the Championship last season, were tipped to struggle this year but have surprised many with their ability to carve out results and nick wins.
And although they’re flying high in the Premier League and playing good football, Lambert insists he’ll only believe they’re safe from relegation when it’s impossible to go down.
“[I’ll only think Norwich are safe] until someone tells me we're mathematically safe. I never really read too much into it because I know how quickly football can turn, but at this minute in time we’ve done unbelievably well.”
And the Scottish manager was full of praise for his side as they defeated a stubborn Bolton outfit at Carrow Road.
“Right from the off I thought we were absolutely scintillating. I thought the way we played the game was excellent.”
