Kean hopeful of resolving Samba situation next week

Steve Kean remains confident of resolving the uncertainty surrounding Blackburn captain Chris Samba’s future.
The giant defender handed in a transfer request last month as he attempted to force a move to either QPR or Tottenham, and he missed a fourth game in a row as Rovers crashed to a 7-1 at Arsenal.
But despite admitting earlier in the day that Samba was fit and available, but wasn’t in the right frame of mind to play, Kean insists the situation will be dealt with as soon as possible.
I’m sure this will be resolved,” he said. “We’ll get back on it again on Monday.
I would rather focus on the lads that were here today and Chris wasn’t here today, he wasn’t in the squad, and hopefully we can get that resolved as quickly as possible.”
