Palermo captain Fabrizio Miccoli is hoping his side can keep up their good run of form when they welcome Atalanta to La Favorita on Sunday.
The Sicilian outfit have taken seven points from a possible nine in Serie A and showed plenty of character to twice come from behind to clinch a 4-4 draw at Inter Milan on Wednesday.
"It was a great result for us," said Miccoli, who scored a hat-trick at the San Siro to earn his team a valuable point.
"We are playing better on the road than we had been in our previous games and that was evident at the San Siro.
"Now we need to continue these performances and climb further up in the standings."
Palermo are eighth in the table and will fancy their chances of taking three points on Sunday, having won eight of their 10 league games at home this season.
Atalanta travel to Sicily fully rested after their encounter against Genoa on Wednesday was called off due to the bad weather in Bergamo.
"My players wanted to play but the referee made the right decision," Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono said.
"We could have risked players getting injured due to the icy conditions of the pitch.
"Now we have to look ahead to the game at Palermo and prepare for what will be a difficult match."
The Bergamaschi will be without their leading scorer German Denis, who serves a one-match ban.
Atalanta are 14th in the standings and have lost just one of their last five games on the road.
Palermo coach Bortolo Mutti will be without midfielder Armin Bacinovic and striker Abel Hernandez, who are both injured.
